- thank you all and thanks to tc. i have been having alot of fun with all this. @def4x4 this is my old beater miata and is full of scratches lol :) . picture 7 is at patirots point in charleston, sc. they have several ships and a vietnam era outpost with some helis and jeeps. for about $20, they let you go an walk around on all of them for the day. really cool place. 7.2inchdriver

- Very beautiful pictures on many differend location,s. @picture 7 is that near a marine basis and mey you come there. pict 1 is really great,you make it on the roof of your own car. watch out if you go owe if you put the trucks in your 1:1 car, there is a little bit sand on that roof!! remove it careful, because you got a lot of scratches. def4x4

Well, when the heat unsolders them, it still makes contact...
Contact is good to get a boat back from the middle of the lake...silly me, lol!
Indeed, overgeared the motor like 1:2, now I'm back to 1:2,67...works better although it still get's pretty hot. DeeMiller
More heat=more resistance=even higher temp=even more resistance etc.
TA-Mark: I think the magnets only shatter when they are overrevved (as they are sintered to withstand the 'normal' high revs which they DON'T reach as you say yourself...).
Still, usefull comment!
I use Novak Brushless systems and I can tell you when you have overgeared the motor, it even unsolders the Dean's connectors although the Novak GTB ESC has a built in heat protection (that comes in when your batteries start to smell funny...ehr...don't ask...). DeeMiller
