description
The XB (Super) Manta Ray principly derives from the original Manta Ray (#58087). It shares a lot of components with its ancestor. Differences can be found at the basic chassis tub, which is a new part and also used in the XB Hummvee. The tub features a two piece cover that helps keeping out a lot of dirt and moisture. The steering linkage also differs from the original Manta Ray steering, since it is made from solid plastic parts w/o threaded shafts, unlike the Manta Ray ones. The XB Manta Ray is only featuring friction type shocks, but an upgrade to oilers is easily feasable.
In the original setup, the XB type will behave much like its forefather, except the dampening. Nevertheless a good 4x4 entry buggy, with enough room for upgrading options.
