  1. Is this the main drive shaft I need? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=401140411019&globalID=EBAY-GB sorry about the newbie questions.
  2. This is what she looks like so far. Do you have a link for those tyres waterbok?
  3. Steel pinion fitted, bearings on order, as is servo mounts although bought metal ones. Still not purchased engine mount as list is endless. Not sure on which centre drive shaft to get. not thought about alloy steering arms - is it a worthwhile improvement? also realised end of battery case is missing. as mainly used for off road I was going to use super gripper tyres, am looking at buying another set of fighter buggy rear wheels and using for of those matched with supper gripper tyres as wheels will match yellow suspension. Have fitted together cleaned up parts and so far she's looking ok. still need 4 drive shafts as mine are slightly bent, just realised I also need the little rubber washers to fit into steering hubs. Long list of parts but she's getting there!
  4. Struggling to get any parts at all. any idea on where I can get the servo mounts?
  5. I'm based in UK, soggy Norwich. will chase down your thread.
  6. Hi all Looking for the following for my Blazing Star restoration: Front & rear drive shafts motor servo mounts tyres upper gearbox casing propshaft Any shell which will fit. cheers all Joe
  7. I'll post some pics tomorrow evening on how she looks now. there seems to be plenty of parts which can be upgraded to metal. my only concern is I'm at a total loss on what motor/pinion set up to go for! im going to replace the servo speed controller and go over to 2.4ghz, did pick up a FTX 3:1 system for pence for my madbull, might try and get another receiver and servo.
  8. Servo mounts added to the list! all shocks leaked oil when I refilled them, can you get just the seals, top seals look mint. connecting rod from rear to front gearbox. motor - tried it in my madbull and smoked like a demon with lots of fizzing and zero movement - looked like new as well. motor mount. rear gearbox housing cracked -both gearboxes work with no odd noises as used my madbull motor, All four drive shafts are rusted however might scrub up ok. complete cover set. thats the list so far, everything looks ok, will know further once I've cleaned all the parts, currently covered in dust, dog hair and some sort of melted sweet!
  9. Afternoon all, after playing around with my MadBull I've gone and bought an old and rather dusty StarBlazer in bits - I think that's what it is - so far I've a list of parts that need replacing. I'm still very much a newbie and get most of my parts from eBay however there's very little for a Blazing Star. what other models are compatible with my new purchase? Also how do I mount a servo? All tips gratefully received! Cheers all Joe
  10. I've snapped the front suspension mount on my Fighter buggy RX. Can you have a look through draws, old boxes and spares bin to see if you have one knocking about? cheers all
  11. Where do I purchase the steering linkage from and what tie rods have you used as I noticed in your picture there not standard ones. thanks for the help.
  12. Part numbers for turnbuckle set, shocks, dog bones and chassis bridge would be great! And where to purchase them from. many thanks!
