  1. Hi guys sorry if this has already been asked before. Has anyone done a guide on doing the KBF hex drive conversion? I have the hex drives from my monster beetle, have tried just swapping them out but the hex drives seem a bit too long. Any help that you guys can give me would be great. Many thanks.
  2. It was supposed to be hex not bed (stupid autocorrect!!)
  3. Also want to covert my KBF to hex drive, would the hex from my monster beetle fit it?
  4. I have converted it to a centre servo but has made no difference!!! Might have to look it to adding some washers to the joints or possibly trying the duel servo thing!!
  5. I was just wondering if you guys have any tips to tighten up the steering on the KBF please? The whole steering rack (less for the servo) seems really loose.
  6. Hi guys as the title says I'm after a Tamiya King Blackfoot shell or a Blackfoot xtreme, preferably in the U.K. and ideally have both bumpers and tailgate but not essential! Thanks in advance.
  7. As requested I stuck a charged up battery in it and took it for a blast!!
  8. Mine pops wheelies like a mother trucker!!! 3300mah NiMH 7.2v and tamiya sport tuned motor as well as metal bushes. I have a hard time keeping the nose down!!!
  9. I'm definitely going to have to look into something back there, cos I fear the extra weight I put on is interfering with other things!!!
  10. Even the chassis didn't escape the paint can!!! And I am on the look out for some drilled, lightweight metal to make a better front grill with! Maybe even put some lights on this bad boy!!!
  11. Shortly after the picture was taken, it was driven! This pic was taken at the park a few days after!
  12. I've yet to take mine out properly as yet as because it's been in the attic and forgotten about for so many years, now it's "finished" there are still a few teething problems! Like the wheelie problem dispite having an extra 180 ish grand of lead weight on the front bumper, it still wheelies like a mother trucker!! I'm thinking of going down the wheelie bar road at the moment! She wheelies on account of the 3300mah battery, the tamiya sport tuned and the new metal bearings!
  13. They most certainly do! Those marks are from when my brother owned it!
  14. Look at what the postman brought me!!!
