This auction is using a photo taken from one of my threads on here. The seller has high feedback but hasn't bought or sold anything since 2014 which rings alarm bells too.

I've reported it to eBay, but the reporting process is just a list of reasons with no ability to type a message so the closest could get is "Item appears fraudulent".

Whoa - I was bidding on that !

Can you report it to Ebay, I've had the same thing happen to me in the past, the auction was pulled right away.

I had also sent the seller a message inquiring if that was an F350 High Lift body, never got a response back.

I reported it over the weekend, but its still on there this morning - they're quick enough to take their fees, not so quick to action reports (and a pathetic report infrastructure it is too - there is no scope to actually tell them what the issue is   )

I reported similar auctions about bootlegged/fake items in the past, e.g. servos and videogames, especially when they were being advertised as authentic products in the auction descriptions.

@cjsid Scroll down in the topic I linked. There are multiple photos as I progressed acquiring the parts. The stolen pic is the in the post dated 20th March 2015.

Truck Norris, you could also try reporting it this way.

@GregM Tried that, if you click continue it asks for the item number of the listing the pics came from, of which there isn't one so a dead end.

Give them a call, ebay has telefon support. I have heard stories that sometimes they even answer.

The listing states now as being "ended by the seller because the item was lost or broken."

By the way, I sent the seller a message via ebay's messaging system on Monday, asking him if he's using photos from Truck Norris' Juggernaut build thread. I got no reply back yet.

Ahh. That's good then :)

I sent a message as soon as I spotted the listing but I just asked for more photos rather than let on that I knew something was up.

@backtomyroots I forgot to mention earlier but the easiest way to tell a Jugg body from a Hi-Lift from a distance (like the pic in the subject of this topic) is the Hi-Lift has holes in the scuttle panel for the wipers, the Jugg doesn't.

Yep, I just wanted to see his answer ;).

Good news reference auction, it's over.
