kirk13 129 Posted July 18, 2016 Just putting the idea out there... There seems to be a number of us living in London or around Surrey. Would there be any interest in a meet up either for some trail running or for a general bashing session?

Jamesssb 237 Posted July 20, 2016 Do you know of any good places? We have gone to esher common a few times, lots of hills and tracks there. But it is sandy and the trucks get messy, so may not be for everyone.
kirk13 129 Posted July 20, 2016 So far I've been using Elmbridge Meadows,at the bottom of my road. It's offered a few miles of trails, mud and some crawling, and if we have a fun of dry weather, maybe some fording. I've also been over to Richmond Park and Ham Common. I stil need to get down to Box Hill too
lupogtiboy 454 Posted July 21, 2016 I'm based near Reigate but work in Epsom. Reigate common maybe a good place, sandy in places but some good heathland if you have anything scale or Clod-like.

kirk13 129 Posted July 28, 2016 Can I get the ball rolling on this in earnest? How about a run through my local stomping ground of Elmbridge Meadows on Sunday 14th of August? This offers a mix of trail running, one or two crawler sections and (depending on the weather between here and then) some mud sections. The short route I use offers up to two hours of running at a moderate walking pace.
kirk13 129 Posted July 28, 2016 Trail head is at the corner of Surbiton Hill Park and Elmbridge Ave. If you use the postcode KT5 8LS, it'll land you at the The Berrylands pub. There's local shops near the trail head, and at Surbiton Lagoon, the trail end. Local transport is South West Trains to Berrylands station,or bus K2 Anyone interested?
