Tamiya Supershot Shell Trimming

Hi Guys

 

The re release hotshot shells do not come with the front holes cut out. How can I cut a hole as close to the factory cut on the original as possible?

When I did mine, I drilled a small hole where the slit ends and used my scalpel to score lines like I do to trim all my bodies
