been in the hobby for many years and joined after rediscovering my Tamiya fetish!

CC01 chassis, rear links replaced with home made steel bar links, brick removed replaced with 'skid plate', 55t crawler motor, quicrun 1060 ESC, both diffs locked

That was the old crawler with the NI-cad battery from six or seven years back? Remember them well😉

It looks at its best being driven, built to do just that. 

Its not happy sitting on a shelf! :)

I like all the roof rack gubbins. Little scale details like that look very appealing. One of the things that makes me want a scaler myself at some point.

a lot of people I know don't like the CC01, but I love it and have built quite a few.

i have 3 and just bought another so now build no 6! :lol:

I don't plan on doing a build as there are thread after thread but I will be replacing the dreadful plastic rear links with a cheap DIY fix and a few mods

will share pics for those interested?

+1 to the above. I am considering buying a CC-01 myself at some point, but I don't have the budget for Junfac links, so I'd like to see your DIY solution.

Same model as I had and sold....with HUGE regret!

Very rare to find a good one and one at the right price. They are now very sought after...
