vtgrrrs 4 Posted November 29, 2015 Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend a cheap (preferrably waterproof) ESC for a new Monster Beetle. I would normally just get one that comes with a deal but I'm looking to save a few quid. Also, I wouldn't want to faff about about changing connectors and stuff. Thanks. Nobbi1977 1793 Posted November 29, 2015 Looks like a cheap copy. I would pay £3 more and get the real thing
LongRat 616 Posted November 29, 2015 I thought they came with a TBLE-02S in the kit?
vtgrrrs 4 Posted November 29, 2015 Not sure - some of the listing symptoms on ebay don't stay whether they do or don't. I know Modelsport and Goldstarstockists are selling a kit without ESC for £120.
LongRat 616 Posted November 30, 2015 Think I got mine for £119. With ESC from Fusion.
beefmuffin 1156 Posted December 1, 2015 Duratrax Intellispeeds have worked pretty well for me on runners for brushed. Good power, only issue is a high pitch whine... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Duratrax-Forward-Brake-Speed-Control-20-/231769744874 But if waterproof is a priority I've run one of these and it's worked well. Mine has a Tamiya connector... can't recall if it came with it or I installed it... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Traxxas-XL5-BRUSHED-ESC-1-10-RC-/231758021568
berman 5315 Posted December 1, 2015 Another vote for hobbywing 1060. auto programming, stoopid proof lipo/nimh and f/b/r mode changes, waterproof, and cheap!
