  1. You need to experience some Lunchboxes, hands down the most fun (and trouble free) R/C vehicle ever made!
  2. I've used bendix cleanup with some success, however I don't think it works on Tamiya PS. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/bendix-bendix-cleanup-brake-and-parts-cleaner-400g/288356.html?gclid=CjwKCAjws8yUBhA1EiwAi_tpERjzTGJtQzqVlvWnibgOq9Vr8dpIdpa3qBTw6PswaV54fq5xA_UNwhoCXz8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  3. Do you have a detail spray gun? Have you thought about using a stencil? Something like this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/275030580292?hash=item4009199c44:g:bcYAAOSwQdZgwBRM
  4. Hi Mtbkym01, I've dug out my original 959, original Fox and also found a currently produced antenna. I believe the the antennas from the original 956, original fox and the re-release are the same. The original one I have for the 956 looks to be a couple of millimetres longer, but that may just come down to manufacturing tolerances. The photo shows the three antennas. The Fox is wrapped in the receiver wire and the 959 has white paint marks on it.
  5. Thanks nowinaminute, That's what I've been looking for! I do have a Radio Shack Golden Arrow, I'll bag this up and keep it with that. Thanks again for your help!
  6. Hi Jez, How long have you owned these vehicles? Have you run them without problems before? There are TL01 knockoffs on the market, the quality is absolutely horrendous. Check for slop from the steering servo saver and try moving the steering by hand while the steering is disconnected from the servo, the clone cars have excessive slop from the servo saver and the ball connectors for the steering are too tight. Unfortunately if your cars are cheap copies, new radio equipment won't solve the problem.
  7. Box it back up and safely pack it away, then grab a new kit to assemble. After you get a taste of hobby again you may want to do a quality restoration of the Sand Rover. It's a highly sought after model and worth spending the time and money to preserve it. What ever you choose to do I'm sure you'll have fun.
  8. Hi Willy, It would definitely make for a good keychain, I think that's where it will end up.
  9. Hi everyone, Has anyone seen one of these before? I found this interesting little trinket in a parts box I purchased. I initially thought it was Radio Shack's version of the Tamiya 4 way tube spanner, but it's too large for a standard 4mm wheel nut. Maybe it's not even RC related?
  10. I won't be able to make it this time guys, but have fun. Hopefully I can make it next time.
  11. Absolutely, I have lost your number but PM me when you would like to get out.
  12. Thanks Johann, but you don't have to do that, I know that would be a lot of work for you, when I can just buy some from ebay.
  13. Thanks gents, I had an enjoyable day and look forward to doing it again soon! Of course you can use the photos Yogi, and thanks again for the Can-Am.
