What happened to R2Hobbies?

As title,

They used to stock some very good value for money bodyshells, accessories and wheels / tyres. I never tried them for any of the electronic items but prices seemed very reasonable on these too.

However their website is now displaying the message "this is a demo store. . Any orders placed through this store will not be honored or fulfilled"

The last notification on their Facebook page was that they were moving warehouse, but this was back in February. I'm guessing they're gone for good?

Oh right, I got several led light kits from them, very cheap.

I certainly hope that they've shut down for good.

They made their name selling crappy copies of good cars and reinforced the belief among some Japanese manufacturers that international business was not in their best interests.

Yes but the Yokomo wheel copies were really rather good

That's not good if that was the case though - I never really looked far beyond the general accessories side of their product lines.
