kasparov 71 Posted March 25, 2015 Guys asking $10k for the used rusty kyosho that is apparently.very rare. Anyone know its real worth? http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/byford/miscellaneous-goods/kyosho-gallop-may-suit-tamiya-team-associated/1074130613
Tamiya1/10 382 Posted March 25, 2015 No clue of the value. Is funny the seller knows he won't get $10K, but if you low ball him, he will just give it away. The questions is, what is a low ball figure, $1K or $100.00? Without the chain, is not in running condition even though the parts are "storage" damage and repairable. I am not a Kyosho collector, so I would offer $100.00.
kasparov 71 Posted March 25, 2015 Hahah I laughed at that doesnt know the value but dont low ball him. In the condition its in I cant see it being of too much value.
Backlash 481 Posted March 27, 2015 Its also on eBay with an $80.00 AUD starting bid, which does seem to be a more realistic idea of its worth..
pizzachaude 130 Posted March 29, 2015 That Gallop actually appears to be in pretty good condition, and yes it is very rare. The hardest bits to get are the body/cage, and this appears to be complete. The Gallop never came with narrow front wheels even on early editions, those are simply Kyosho Raider front wheels and tires that were to put to convert to 2WD, hence why the chain is missing. If I didnt have so many other projects I would be tempted to bid on this.
