  1. Hi, I am mounting a Blitzer Beetle shell to my new Buggy Champ chassis and was wondering if someone would please tell me the length of Sand Scorcher part B11. It is the plastic standoff for the rear roll bar clip for the rear body mount. Thanks
  2. The silicone o-rings are white and go in the bottom seals. The black o-rings are generally used as bump stops on the outside of the damper on the shaft between the damper body and the lower spring seat. Some builders may also use them inside under the piston to shorten the length of the damper. As far as the broken part, the good news is they are the V parts tree and are cheap should the seller not want to cooperate with you. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=53918 Good Luck.
  3. I ordered the whole kit ($109) and the rear lockouts that you posted in the other thread. Waiting for the parts to arrive. I was thinking that you might be able to use the upper hole to mount the upper link to give greater link separation and perhaps better suspension geometry? Thoughts?
  4. I don't think you can remove the paint from the chrome without damaging the chrome. It looks like you've only painted the lights detail. It looks fine to me the way it is, or just a touch-up job.
  5. Green is negative, yellow is positive. You can also tell by looking at the can. The positive side terminal only has one hole in the can.
  6. It's a Monster Beetle. It is also missing the front skid plate. The rear body mounts look a little whack. It is definitely missing the cross brace.
  7. Busy weekend... Ok, when you remove the MSC you gotta cut the y-lead (black/red) that goes the the power switch from the MSC. Cut it right at the MSC to give the longest wire to work with. You connect the ESC blue to y-lead black, and ESC yellow to y-lead red. Technically, you don't disconnect any wires going to the power switch, you just cut off the MSC at the black and red wires. The two motor wires coming from the ESC only need to be connected once each - one to black one to red off the back of the y-lead. Very simple. I hope this helps.
  8. You can install an ESC in the Clod no problem. Rip out the MSC, and keep the power mode selector ('Power/Economy'). Wire the ESC through that and you only have to make one connection. It still gives you the option to run in economy mode. I wired mine this way because my 3 1/2 year old daughter occasionally drives and I want it going SLOW, but then she complains that it isn't as fast as her Lunchbox, LOL.
  9. The Cat's Eyes on the tail lights. An old Hot Rodder mod.
