Tamiya 58048 Toyota 4x4 Pickup Bruiser - 1/10th RC - Vintage

Recommended Posts

ok, tried to sell this on ebay and got messed around too much.

looking for $750 (AUD) plus postage costs - take advantage of the good exchange rate recently!

guts of the ebay add below - pictures to follow.

Original Issue Tamiya Bruiser up for sale.

Incredible looking 4x4 truck, originally released in 1985. It featured a realistic 3 speed transmission and a solid axle leaf spring suspension for ultra-realistic appearance. The Bruiser also included a powerful RS-750SH motor, the biggest, most powerful motor ever used in a Tamiya off-road truck. Also included is a slipper spur gear to protect the gearbox from damage due to the increased power output of the motor over its predecessor, the Hilux and it’s oversized tyres.

Secure yourself a piece of RC history!

Sold! Finally!

Got (current) asking price too so that's a win.

Shows there is still some value in vintage gear even with re-re stuff around.

That is great news Clive, it sure doesn't make sense why you would be messed around with, but I guess that is eBay and their lack of enforcing things???? Just guessing really.

What is next up for you?? I have been far too deep into too many things to focus on too much. I think I still owe you a payment for a certain black body???

Chris
