  1. Thanks, but I'm edging towards brushless. I have a TBLE02s ESC which supports sensored brushless, so it seems a shame not to make use of it :-)
  2. I was thinking of the 17.5T version of that motor as an option, given I have that ESC. Would that be too much?
  3. Thanks guys - in the end WD40 wasn't needed but a back and forth roll/twist worked a charm :-) This is a stock Hornet motor. I'm deliberating on upgrading to a GT-tuned or a 17.5T brushless (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__21866__Turnigy_TrackStar_17_5T_Sensored_Brushless_Motor_2270KV_ROAR_approved_.html perhaps)
  4. Newbie question here... I have recently purchases a re-release Hornet and I wanted to take the gearbox apart to fit new bearings. However, to my surprise, I was unable to get the motor to ESC connectors apart after I'd run the buggy for a while. It seems like they may have fused together? I haven't found a topic on this forum of something similar happening - is this a known problem and are there any good techniques to fix it? Or do I just need to pull harder :-) Thanks!
