  1. The boxart colours? The orange is PS62 I think. Edit: Ministrone beat me to it
  2. Hi, I was referred to you by a member. Anyway, do you have 2pcs Samurai front drive shafts{dog bones) available?

  3. I meant that I'm not sure if I want to sell it, testing interest so to say. But I suppose it's for sale so I edited the title.
  4. I'm thinking about selling my Marui Shogun NIB, the pride of my collection so to say but I need funds for other projects. It's complete and I would say in a very good condition but has few minor defects, like the blister is not perfect and some of the screw bags are opened. But it is 100% new and complete. I'm more than happy to take as many pictures as requested. As for the price I'm trying to determine a fair price, I'm not looking to scalp it for the highest possible price but I'm not giving it away either.
  5. Yeah, in fact looking at the picture both orange and yellow buggies have front arms from the V1 too. I'm trying to restore a V3 - basically the same as V2 - so if you happen to come across any I would be interested.
  6. Front arms have that 'aero' design in V2, they are pointy towards the leading edge and their marketing tried to make a point that there would be some aerodynamic benefit. Rear arms are just different. Ideally I would be interested in both.
  7. You wouldn't happen to have any new suspension arms for the V2?

    Turbo Optima Mid

Looks ace, that minty fresh Ko Propo EX-5 is not to be ignored either
  9. Howabout Boomerang? They even foresaw it, with an ad of Boomerang on the surface of moon.

    1988 Marui Shogun

Looks great and even the fragile wheels are intact. Always loved the obvious John Player Special Lotus influence on the Shogun.
  11. One general upgrade would be to do something about hinge pins that screw into hard plastic causing parts to crack. Those could be substituted with shafts and clips or if you heat up the screw prior screwing it might help as well.
  12. Striker/Sonic Fighter chassis (at the front where the front suspension arms are mounted) would be one notorious weak spot, there is just not enough material there. Without jumping it will prob hold up fine but most used ones come with this section pre-cracked. Not so much something you can prepare with spares though. There are some aftermarket braces to enforce the front section.
  13. Are the Durango 14mm hexes compatible? I have bunch of those.
  14. I'm having the same issue, at first I thought I had a sticky key or something Resizing the window smaller fixed it for me.
  15. Well said, Falcon certainly feels like a missing link. I think their decision not to re-release it so far has something to do with the gearbox. Maybe it's the durability or just awkward assembly (mating the gearbox, suspension arms and chassis). I think Tamiya sees these lower end kits also as potential beginner vehicles, or something nostalgic fathers will buy for their kids. Striker/Sonic Fighter has the same issue with the gearbox and in addition have that weakish chassis. Plus they are no where near as iconic so I would be really surprised to see either of them before the Falcon. All 3 share quite a few parts so it could also be a rare case of molds gone missing or something similar.
