  1. Hi there, Does anyone know if the Street Devil front tyres are the same size as the tyres on the regular Group C cars (300ZX, XJR12, C11, etc)? I had some front tyres that were labelled for the Devil but not sure if they only fit the original wheels and not other Group C standard wheels. Thanks Vic
  2. Hoping you can help me identify a couple of shells here. I have come across a Carson Alfa shell (code is 13128) which is WAY too big to fit a touring car. It is ~280mm wheelbase and is 230-240mm wide, and about 160-170mm tall. I am wondering if it was designed to fit onto an old Tamiya truck of some sort rather than a tourer... any ideas? I have another one of the same sort of size as well. A Merc saloon (C class I think) which is code 13414. They are quite old so I cannot find anything on the net about them. Cheers Victor101car
  3. Kev, I have a couple of boxes of Mardave spares here but not what bits are what. Do you have a few pics or a copy of the manual showing the bits you are after? Ta Vic
  4. If you mean the front arm shaft then that is slightly different as it has a 'cap' one end to stop it going through the axle mount.
  5. Its a big bigger than the idler shafts on the Tiger tanks and it also has a hole in the shaft. I think it's for an old buggy or car (58001-58050) but just can't see which..
  6. I have got a bag with a bunch of these parts in it. I am happy to send one to someone free of charge if you can correctly identify it!!
  7. I have a bunch of spare parts for the Tenth Technology cars from the 90's. Give me a shout if you are looking for anything.
  8. Hi there, I have got a few steering rods for the Egress here that are brand new and unused. (Part no. 5315013.) Percymon, its the same item on the Avante 2001 if you are still looking as well? Cheers
  9. At the moment we are looking at them around £130-140 mark. The only shame is that they are RTR unfortunately but I would hope that they release more on the GB01 chassis that are non-assembled ones in the future. (Got to have a Top Force eventually I would of thought... Cheers Gary www.lightwatermodels.com
  10. We have just finished a news article for our website for the new Tamtech Frog (in English). Come take a look at: http://www.lightwatermodels.com Cheers Victor101car @ Lightwater Models
  11. And HPI did for a while list on their website that some of the Mini shells were suitable for the Tamiya M cars. The ones that I was thinking of for a while for my M03 were the A Class, and the MX-5. But you need to be careful with the wheelbases on some of them. Also, you might find the fit of them not quite right if you buy a very low down body. (On the bigger cars, some of the supercar bodies like the Lambo's, etc don't have enough clearance to fit on some of the Tamiya chassis) Vic
  12. Just in case anyone is dozing off... There was the Nuremburg toy fair recently and Tamiya announced only two re-releases: 1. TT01 based Integrale HF - with pre-painted and stickered bodyset 2. M03 Mini Cooper 1994 Monte Carlo - They are actually going to release an XB M03 based Mini Cooper Monte Carlo. (Bit weird as it is unlikely it will be that cheap with the Tamiya Expec system and everything.) That is the only ones being talked about at Nuremburg, so it is unlikely that any weird TL01 Impreza with big wheels will see the light of day for at least 6 months. Cheers Vic
  13. Hi all, I imagine most of you know me by now as I supply Tamiya parts, kits, etc in the UK. One of the things that I have found of late is a lack of information on parts and compatibility for various kits. I have taken alot of information from the Tamiya website (and an old copy of the website I have as well) but I have a very large amount of parts missing. I will be slowly adding to my list with part no's and descriptions and also compatibility. But, I am also looking for some voluneteers! I am wondering if there are a selection of people on here that have old kits and old manuals that might help me in my plight. I would like to have a set of people that I can email every few days with questions about parts and their compatibility and then if anyone on that group knows about them then they can respond to further the compilation of the reference. So is anyone on here willing to help? The kind of questions are: * Does anyone know what part no.s 50001-50005 are? or * Does 50008 Porsche 934/935 Steering Set work with the Porsche 936 Turbo? The end result is as yet to be determined, but I will look to have this information avalaible to all in some guise. (Currrent options are 1. to try and have tamiya club parts ref updated - would have to talk to Chris, 2. to publish them to my website, etc) So, please lend a hand where you can as I'm sure this will be a great help to all... If you are willing then you can email me on sales@lightwatermodels.com and we will see how we get on! (Please note, any email addresses I receive will be used for this only, and not added to any mailing lists for auctions or shops or things, so don't worry. Also, just emailing me to be removed from the list at any time will be fine) At the moment I am looking for people that can help with models upto no.150 and that would consider their knowledge higher than basic or beginner. Cheers Gary (victor101car)[]
  14. I use Opera sometimes and that can make the banner appear in funny places. But that's what you get for using Opera is what I figured...
