  1. Funny as all their eBay adverts list worldwide postage. I would drop them an email before giving up on them. Sending something from Germany is no harder than posting a letter from London to Birmingham!
  2. So been having a play about on this subject with a buddy of mine yesterday and have a bit of a breakthrough! I have a couple of old TL-01 rolling chassis so we broke down one of the hubs and fitted the drive shaft wheel end cup/shaft it to a spare Celica Gr.B rear arm and hub.... and put the 12mm Hex on...was a bit tight but all you need to do is remove a mm or 2 from the face and it all fits perfectly meaning you can happily run mor modern wheels with 12mm hubs on your 959/Celica's! I also tried the other method of taking a 12mm hex and actually forcing it onto the original splined hub and that worked too you end up with another solution.
  3. So I have got 2 half decent 959's that I won on eBay, one has the Celica body mounts on it so was planning on getting a 959 and Celica body Question I have is what Tamiya wheel and tyre combos will work or have been tried and tested with these cars. Might add the cars have arrived in the post at my office but I have been in Dubai for the past 3 weeks so will get to see them on Monday!!
  4. Only dangerous if you have no skill and drive it like a tool and run out of talent.
  5. Ah ok I see. Still bargain buys one was £103 the other £155. Ok I need to get body shells but the Kamtech repro ones will do that job [emoji2]
  6. How they never Re-Released the Celica GrB or 959 as far as I was aware?
  7. Travelling with work but now seem to have another Porsche 959 for a bargain off eBay. So that's 2 for less than £300! Is it me or have they suddenly lost value or aw I really jammy?
  8. So you won't like this "big toy" of mine then? [emoji12][emoji13]
  9. I just won a fairy tidy Porsche 959 on eBay for a tiny sum of money. Happy freaking days!
  10. I have successfully painted an old HB shell with Halfords car paint...you can use the normal primer or the specific plastic primer both work well. Make sure you key the surfaces to be painted well I with a fine scotchbrite pad or some 1500 grit wet and dry.
  11. Yeah they do look like they have been fixed....very weak spot on the chassis.
  12. I have 2 along with a brand new bodyshell set Making one good one out of the 2 and modernising (without cutting it about) with an ESC and new Radio gear....going to use it If you got the same route just keep all the bits
  13. Here is my Brat had its first run out last weekend....miss judged a puddle depth Must say I am slightly disappointed with the handling and grip or lack of....those tyres are a bit rubbish....still a fun car though !!
  14. Won this on eBay last week for a song (£80 less than retail ) Built it on Friday night when the Mrs was out and little man was in bed...finished if off Saturday AM...well just put the rear tyres on...good god they were tight as badword. I have started the paint job...its not box art but is using VW Indigo Pearlescent blue and VW silver.
  15. That's only a couple of them my mate had his Frog and Brat out too. I did run my original pumpkin but it went crazy and crashed into a tree and smashed the shell [emoji20] Frensham little ponds has some great places to play. Just respect the walkers and dogs and all is good. [emoji3]
