  3. I am building a Tundra truck, i cant decide if i want to spend a fortune on the tamiya multifunction unit, so if i buy a series of std led lights, i would like to plug into my spare 4th channel.. here is my question... what do i need in order to use the 4th channel to turn lights on an off..in currently right hand side of the transmitter operates throttle and steering and left stick up and down does the gears. i am left with left stick left and right movements which is setup with auto centre. . what i would like to do is throw left once to turn main lights on and then left again to turn lights off, and use right movement to turn on all the spotlights with a 2nd right movement to turn them off again.. would be grateful for any help or any links that would solve my problem..
  4. I have an E Savage, can anyone tell me if any parts from any other the other Savage variants will fit straight on. i am thinking drive train parts, ideally i would like to change the plastic driveshafts over to something stronger, as i am now running it brushless. Also maybe change the suspension arms, and the hobs, mine have quite a lot of play in them. Grateful for any help Cheers Chris
  5. I am working on an E Savage Quad, the ESC is an ACEPRO 1/8, i cant find any info on the net but have the manual and the std setup is 4s. i dont have a programme card so its staying put as 4s. Who sells a 2s lipo that is the same size as normal 7.2v stickpack.. appreciate any links on ebay etc Cheers Chris

  7. Myself and Steve biscuit have found a great place in Basildon Essex where we can run our bikes in peace. we have a simple track but its fast and furious racing. Anyone based near to basildon Essex fancy joining us at our next meet. 8. Guys, i have recently found a great place to run my bikes and now fancy a 4wd touring car just for bashing, no plans to race competitively. but i do want to run brushless, so not thinking of a TLO1 or anything like that I am really only a collector of old cars and totally lost touch with modern stuff. is Tamiya the best option or maybe another brand, i fancy buying lots of Ali hopup parts and making a real nice chassis What do u suggest that i can pickup cheap on Ebay that will run brushless and handle ok. Can u turn a touring car into a drift car easily or are they two different setups, ie can i just change the wheels or is it a different chassis. thanks Chris
  9. Guys whats your thoughts. I am back inro RC after a long break and have bought various Brushless ESc's but i want use one brand so that i have one programme card.. i have bought the hobbywing units and they are ok but have fans on top and i can see these getting damaged. *what brand can u reccommend that is reliable and well made?* will be used for bashing and some recreational track racing. i dont plan to enter the world's just yet! i have looked at castle and LRP so far. What else can u suggest that do not have fans and are waterproof Cheers
  10. I think its time to bite the bullet and go over to 2.4ghz.. problem is what to buy.. here are my questions. **i run 1/8 scale bikes so i need a receiver that is small enough to fit in the bike this is crucial as kyosho hors are really my thing.. ** i like steering wheels and need a 3rd channel for my brake mix.. **i might consider a stick setup if it is not to bulky, the ones i have looked are geared up for planes and i dont fly.. ** i want one hadset that will run 10 models ideally.. help advice and links to ebat items would be most appreciated,it is a mine field i have used the same handset for 30 years !! thanks Chris
