  1. Its been a long time since i posted on here but thought i would share some wheels i created for the Avante Mk2 :)
  2. The Vanquish was my first ever Tamiya car I found it at a boot sale when I was 17.. “I’m now39!” inside a beatties bag! It was unbuilt and even had a controller in the bag.. I paid 50p for it! I was very lucky that all the parts where in there Not knowing what it was I beat the living £%”! Out of it… even splitting it in two at one time… front wheels went one way and the back wheels went the other Till this day it will always be one of my favourite Tamiya cars And about 5 years ago I retired it and restored it back to new condition with all original parts
  3. Have a little look over here Years ago I had a play http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60390#entry399366
  4. As its just a shelfer i'm going to try and find a Dynatech 02... or a super stock
  5. Yep but if i remember right only one washer
  6. As far as I was concerned this is a steering stopper It prevents the wheel from over steering/turning? I’m sure someone will put me right if I’m incorrect
  7. Your right! I'll have to flip the rears later today
  8. And a little work later and here we have her all finished As it’s got a clear body you have to just do that little more work on the details to make it look good so removing any unneeded clear parts was in hand And the last one More pics of my Avante's here http://s23.photobucket.com/user/Mproz/library/Tamiya%20Avante
  9. Starting to come together Now on to the body I have been asked how I cut the body out to have such nice lines First I score the line with a scalpel like so Then I bend the body so the line I just scored is in the middle of the bend What happens when you do this is the score you made acts like a guide and the body will split from that mark Like so Doing it this way leaves me with a very clean cut
  10. Really love the look of the shocks
  11. Well some of you may have seen my other build Avante black special http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=66615#entry456655 And some of you may have seen the 100’s of pics I post of my Avante family collection Just so you know I like to keep the body clear on my cars I’m going to shelf so most of my collection are clear body cars This lets the whole car still be seen with the body on Anyway here is my Egress build ------------------------- After only 5 days I was the happy owner of an Egress 2013 And I didn’t waste any time building it! And I had to get some blue ends as it didn’t feel right using the black ones I also swear that some of the metal parts on the egress and lighter than the Avante
  12. just looked but can't find it on there :/
