Incredible work , looks excellent

Outstanding work as always 👍

Thanks a lot mate , I might give it a blast when the weather improves and I get some time . I've run it indoors to test but it keeps laying down rubber tracks on the floors and I get a thick ear from the misses 👎

I bought a MK1 Blitzer Beetle with MSC etc , all a bit bashed up but set about the strip and rebuild . I decided to replace the self tappers with black M3 etc to give a more stealth look . I also drilled through the chassis to front assembly holes and used bolts all the way top to bottom to add strength to this weak spot. I also drilled through the front and rear damper top mounts and used bolts right through to again add strength to more known weak spots. I bolted through the rear damper tower and bolted it to the chassis. I've fitted front turnbuckles, more for effect than anything , but they do give adjustment against wear. I also fitted fixed length rear upper links to replace the plastic . I made a ESC / receiver deck from aluminium plate . I fitted aluminium uprights and mounted the steering rod ball ends underneath instead of on top to eliminate the weird stock steering under load . Detailed the tyre lettering . The body is still in repaired state ready for warm weather painting . Bottom pic is of chassis as bought with MSC etc

Love it !! , There's a lot of it about these days

Stickers on motors - Torque Tuned , Sport Tuned etc seem to always end up upside down or hidden when mounted in most common RC's . A loose sticker should be supplied to apply yourself

Blitzer Beetle pinion gear problem

The shell was shredded front , back and roof A pillar , but I've spent a lot of time repairing it as I like a challenge and it is a MK1 shell and chassis .
