I am nearing completion of my monster beetle restoration so I can pretty much guarantee that there will be a rere along soon. Lol

Also finished my resto a couple of months ago, but will definately add a rere to the collection. This may be the first time I do what I would like to do with all cars. 1 runner, 1 shelfer and 1 NIB. The MB is one of my absolute favourites from back then.

It will be interesting to see if they do anything with the gearbox. And how the price compares to the Frog.

You would have to think that the original Blackfoot is now inevitable too. Would it come with the Ford F-150 nametag though? If so, then that nails on a Ranger SRB re-release.

It's announced for 170 Euro in a french webstore (pre-order).

Yes, me too! Just doing the paint on my beautiful shelfer. Ours will be better than a re re ;)

I'd like to see an official solution for the **** gear box for my runner though.

I think a price similar to the Subaru Brat is likely. Around the £135 mark here in the UK.

Just what I was thinking: my Blackfoot can rest its old brittle bones and let the young'un handle the running chores.

I guess we're imagining an original-style ORV chassis with the same updates as the Frog/Brat?

Would they dare fit it with King Blackfoot rear end? You get a better runner, and if you want the original look for a shelfer fit it with a 'box from the re-re Frog.

Honestly, why they chose this over the BF escapes me? Licensing issues with Ford?

Anyways, I'm excited. Always wanted a MB :)

Wow now this is exciting. B) The monster beetle is my favourite tamiya. I wanted one so bad I bought a wt01 mudblaster and got a sandscorcher body, painted it red and bought the MB decals to make a modern MB. This is going into my collection the day it's released. Can not wait! :D

-Just to add guys. How long is it before they release the parts for new re-releases? Is it at the same time as the model? I'd love some of those gold wheels to go on my wt01 MB. I'd love if they changed them to hex fitment too.
