Recommended Posts

Hey guys I know this hopup is hard to find but I'm piecing together a kit myself.

I've found the carbon piece and the L parts tree does anyone have a part list of what else I need?

You can find what you need in the black special manual that is on the tamiyas USA site compare it with the avante 2011 manual. I also used the egress manual as I collected egress spare parts for this steering set.

If you are piecing this kit together for a runner, then I would not use the steering rod from the older Egress kit that you were looking at in the for-sale section. You should definitely use the newer 3mm x 70mm rod with 3mm rod ends. Much much less play in the steering system. Also use a hi-torque servo saver. The standard grey one is junk.

Thank you for the advice, the only place I found the newer rod you speak of was at modelsport uk so I ordered it.
