Tamiya1/10 382 Posted July 31, 2014 You guys got to stop posting these tempting dish. It looks good. Kind of wonder what Tamiya has done in the last decade other than those wheelie cars. Sure like to know what their business plans are for the next 5 years. yeah BTMR, buy it and i look fwd to your build.:-)
Percymon 2184 Posted July 31, 2014 Gotta say it does look good, my only concern would be how robust the drivetrain is (and only on the basis that there are few, and limited, experiences with the brands latest offerings)
backtomyroots 432 Posted July 31, 2014 Gotta say it does look good, my only concern would be how robust the drivetrain is (and only on the basis that there are few, and limited, experiences with the brands latest offerings) I'd be no more concerned over this than any RC4WD offering. I'm confident in my 6x6 by Cross-RC: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=123882&sid=7434

markbt73 5290 Posted July 31, 2014 Yikes. Sort of looks like a Ford Super Duty had a wild night with an old AMC Rambler...
Tamiya1/10 382 Posted August 1, 2014 Lets break it down why we like it... 1. body is made with hard plastic 2. has the extended cab and roll bar like the bruiser and mounty 3. has the spare back wheel, chuncky tires and front bull bar like the axial. 4. the hood shaker like of a barricuda. 5. the rear bed has depth and wheel arch buldge 6. seems lights are included 7. detailing parts including roof racks instead of decals. I can see other rc companies are looking at what buyers wants/likes and incorporating them in vs Tamiya is sticking with their 80's ideals.

Percymon 2184 Posted August 1, 2014 Looks pretty good on the move with reasonable articulation and suspension travel/softness thats pretty realistic !
scoobybooster 245 Posted August 1, 2014 This thing look pretty intresting. Wonder if the body is a pure fantasy-car. Although the front reminds me to a late 70's Monteverdi Safari ( very rare swiss made car with US techniques )http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monteverdi_Safari#mediaviewer/Datei:Monteverdi_Safari-101.jpg
Tamiya1/10 382 Posted September 20, 2014 Anyone got their hands on the Cross Pg4 or is like the Axial SCX10 with a different hard body? The Cross site only has a few exterior shops, just like their 6X6 or 8x8. I think a build video with detailings would generate more interest.
