Are they forecasting a resurgence in custom clod/txt's?

I'm wondering the same - maybe I've been looking in the wrong places but the Clod scene seems to have been very quite for a while. I hope it's coming alive again soon as I have plans to get mine up and running again this year.

sweet-looking tyre, although IMO seems to lack a bit of presence compared to the stock Clod tyre, at least in those photos. IMO needs a more rounded sidewall.

There is actually a healthy solid axle monster truck racing scene in the US, just no one bothers to cover it. The couple of FB groups I am a member of are busy busy busy... Here is a video from one of the more recent races.

I'm sure the body is a Pro Line also. Dig the shallow tread. No need to grind them down like a stock Clod tire for racing

Is there much in the UK anymore. Last meeting I was involved in here was TC Kidderminster back in the day? We had an almighty monster jam. Can't remember the year but no doubt Andy (twinset) will have a handle on that/stack of pics

2007!!!! Wow!

Until I saw that last pic I'd forgotten how many old car shells I donated to be crushed!!

That was a laugh.

Time to dust off my clods!!

'Roots, yep, that's him.

I wonder if I could fit these to my Marui Big Bear?

Nah, they'd touch in the middle.

** off topic diversion**

Yeah, the Big Bear had the best looking tyres for small trucks. Nothing really fits it's rims though. Duratrax made a couple of different treads for it, back in the day, but nothing current is that size. You could adapt Lunchbox tyres and wheels to it to get it going, but they are no where as cool as the original rubber.

yeah, thats what I am beginning to think. My current Big Bear build will be a runner too, but the lunchbox tires just don't look right on the big bear

But Big Bear tyres look perfect on Pump/Boxes. Something's just not right :/
