Hi, Thanks for the info. I looked at tower hobbies and could not find the right shift gate for sale seperatly. Where can I get one? It's the same as Futaba Attack which is not sold in the US as far as I can see. I think Futaba has given the full rights to sell this model in the US to Tamiya -
I want to get a radio for the semi truck I am planing on building. Does the Tamiya Attack radio come with the shift gates? Also is that Radio FM or AM? Thanks in advance Shawn

Installing the MFC unit on a Mercedes Benz 1850L
shawn0883 replied to shawn0883's topic in General discussions
Hey Thanks for your advice. I was going to paint the body without drilling the holes first. Thanks. Now I have to wait till I get the pin vise i ordered from a Hong Kong guy from ebay. Also the pictures were a great help. Now I have an idea how to mount this. Too bad the manual don't show this in detail. Like you said after spending $300 on it the manual should have been better -

Hey thanks for the info. It was a great help. Can I see the pictures? It will make it more easier for me if I can see some pictures. By the way I can't put both the receiver and the MFC unit on the mech deck. So I mounted the receiver on the deck that the instructions manual says to mount the ESC. Since the MFC has the ESC built in that place was empty. Will it be a problem for the final assembly? -
I need some help installing the MFC CONTROL unit(56511) on the 1/14 Mercedes Benz 1850L item# 56307. The instructions manual of the MFC unit gives little or no information on how to install this. There is only one small picture. Has anyone installed this on a 56307? If so any nfo you can give me will be of help. I talked to Tamiya and they are not helpful either. They say no one has installed it on that before and they don't know. They also said this unit is not designed to be used with that truck. Then how come their site list it under the hookup options for this truck? Any info that someone can share with me will be greatly appreciated. Shawn
