Gruntfuggly 562 Posted October 25, 2014 I just read this blog post (by Jeff Attwood, the guy behind Stack Overflow, etc.) http://blog.codinghorror.com/what-if-we-could-weaponize-empathy/ I reckon this forum/community is probably the most civil, friendly and welcoming place on the net that I visit. Very rarely do we see any of the problems Jeff talks about. I think we can all be fairly pleased with ourselves.
Tamiya1/10 382 Posted October 25, 2014 Diagree. We all got to slap the back of the head , i mean the back, of our terminator, i mean our moderator, which he writes nicely but carry a big stick....like...remove your post or lock it up. . Seriously...i agree. Disagreement need not to swear or insult one another just because i see it half full and some one sees it half MT. However, if some one here dislike Willy, that is treason and he/she will be banish from TC for life.

emory70 153 Posted October 26, 2014 That's why I get pretty much all my rc info from this site and a particular rc monster truck forum.
kontemax 1725 Posted October 26, 2014 I absolutely agree, I think the same and I've seen only one little trouble in 12 years and I must also admit that I was involved in this little trouble, sorry eheheheh!!! Mad Ax 9313 Posted October 27, 2014 I remember posting a comment a couple of months back when two active, well-respected and well-informed members of TC were having an open and public disagreement on the forum; both sides posted their point of view, both sides analysed the other's points, and both sides carried on believing their point of view was correct - and at no point were any kittens threatened, at no point did anyone throw their teddies out of the pram, at no point did it seem like anything other than a decent, valid discussion between friends. I'm not sure I'd have seen that anywhere else on the internet. Given that this is a very international forum and there's sometimes a small language barrier between us, it's even more amazing that we manage to keep it proper and decent. Good work everybody
