New Avante FRP upper and lower deck

Hi guys as the title says I have new frp decks to use to restore a old Avante do I need to seal the edges of the decks with pva glue ? any advice welcomed

PVA Glue?? As in woodworking glue?

Typically you use CA or "superglue" to seal the edges of a chassis..

Are you going to run it after it is restored?

If its not going to be run after you restore it, I don't think that I would bother..

Thanks for the reply I will run it in my garden once in a while. My racing days are long gone as just can't find the time any more.

It is not necessary. The chassis is completely covered by lexan, so there is really no risk of snagging an edge.
