  1. I'm actually working the restoration of an original Sand Scorcher body. I'm waiting for the doors' handles and it will be finished. For this one, I've made a ragtop version.
  2. The mirrors are made in a kind of resin. I bought them on eBay UK for a few quids. Yes, I have action pictures of the Sand Scorcher with its orange body.
  3. Thank you for this very kind message! I love classic cars and vintage racing cars which explains probably some details on the bodies. Regarding the mirrors, they are reproductions of the original ones, found on ebay. Thanks again.
  4. This is really unbelievable!!! I swear it's true: I had never seen this blue Baja from CHiPs before and I can't believe how similar it is to the one I've made!
  5. It's been a long time since I last post something here. Not too much news but here's a box I've made to put all my Sand Scorcher stuff in. Hope you like it.
  6. You're right. That's why I'm selling my re-re bodies and I keep only the originals. Happy bidding! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-Herbie-Sand-Scorcher-body-by-Steed-Customs-/251945413866?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aa91decea
  7. Hello there, I've just finished another shell. I've made another Herbie but with an original shell. The Re-re shell will be for sale on eBay in a couple of days...
  8. I'll try to find some time to mount the front wheels and I'll let you know. Yes, the adaptors are from HPI.
  9. Thank you very much. Regarding the Honda S800 wheels turned into BRM wheels, I haven't used them yet but I think they could fit on the SRB chassis with bearings at the front (they might fit on the external side without modification). For the rear, adapters will be used to fit them. They are usable with 1.55" tires. The next modification I'd like is to narrow the front wheels to fit Sand Scorcher Front tires on them.
  10. I've done one more shell (right) but this one is not for sale. It's an original shell. There's a few original ones in the line waiting for a new paint job.
  11. If anyone is interested in this body, it's actually for sale on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-Sand-Scorcher-body-by-Steed-Customs-/251875735552?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aa4f6b800
