Anyone else see this MP on ebay?

Recommended Posts

So just wondering if anyone else saw this beast. I like the wheels a lot but I'm wondering if the dual shock front mod has any benefit? I know it works in real life on big trucks and a lot of the newer 1/10th and 1/8th scale trucks. Things to ponder.

Well, I presume that rolling over the truck would be easier with that wheel and tire combination, but chances are the dampers would help avoiding that, not sure. The front suspension might be softer but steering might be better than stock. And I was curious about the rear suspension set-up because I know those Hornet shocks are far softer than the original pogos. Also, the alternate inclination. Not sure it works because of the way the rear axle goes attached to the chassis. But anyway, the truck looks pretty cool and it is probably a blast to drive.

Rear damper position is totally wrong.

Front double damper are useless.

The lifted up body help the car to roll over the roof.

Smaller wheels will make the car slower than original.

Went for $43.00 US total. Should have picked it up for the wheels and spares. Would have been worth it. I didn't think it would go that cheap.

Most the times you can make much more money dismantling the cars rather than selling them built.

That's the truth I used to part out vintage bicycles. All but the top of the line rare originals were worth more in parts than all together. Shame but that's just the way it is.
