Tamiya Wheels for on road.

Recommended Posts

I have come used tamiya wheels for my M03 05 and FF03. The kits wheels and sometimes some others, but still tamiya branded. I keep finding, before even hitting the track, some are essentially buckled. They wobble.

Any one else notice this? Do the racers buy a pre mounts or some particular wheel that's better?

Ta.

When I raced, I used Ansmann wheels. Cheap, tough and moulded true, they were also completely resistant to acetone, so tyre removal was a simple case of leaving them to soak for a while, then slipping the old tyres off to replace them with new ones.

I've been using the Ride "inch up" tyres and wheels on my M05.. I have not really noticed any of them being buckled..

Are you sure its not an issue with the hex adaptor?

Found out this was a bad alloy hex on my FF03. I'll have to recheck my mini to see if thats the wheels, axle or hex.

Thanks
