  1. Yes, I've used it and it works great. Body colour on the inside, flat clear on the outside. I re-made the window masks, but that's a great tip to use the masking film instead, will do that next time! Paint seems pretty durable. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...2&sid=32593 Cheers, Tim.
  2. Hi folks, I’ve finally found the time to sort through my collection and put some of it up for sale. A lot of time and effort has gone into these models, but I want to liquidate a few of my assets to help pay for a wedding! I’ve also decided to focus more on scale crawlers and military themed models. All prices include First Class Recorded delivery to the UK only, and payment via cheque, bank transfer or Paypal Gift. I’ve just sold three Lego kits on eBay (as user c_a_r_t_e_r, please check out my 100% positive feedback) and lost around £80 in fees and charges, so by saving the fees I can list these at sensible prices rather than eBay prices! If you have any questions please contact me via PM or reply to this thread, I’m happy to provide more details or photos if required, I can also combine postage. Items will be carefully packed in bubble wrap and outer cardboard box. Right, enough of the chat, on with the sales: Model: WW2 #58242 Overall condition: Excellent Chassis: Light use, occasional runner. Body: Brand new, never run, unpainted. Assembled without glue to allow disassembly for painting, some detail parts painted, driver unpainted, NIP decals. Bearings: Yes. Factory assembled gearbox stripped and fully ballraced. Steering Servo: Yes ESC: Yes, NIP TEU101BK Notes: Fitted with Hop-up CVA shocks. Brand new 540 motor fitted. PRICE INCLUDING UK POSTAGE: £80
  3. Hi Skinner, I actually have a brand new TA02/TA01 chassis from the original F150 kit #58161 that I'm just about to list with another 8 models for sale. Details as follows, PM me if you're interested or reply to this thread! Price assumes Paypal via Gift, or bank transfer/cheque, etc. Cheers, Tim. <edit> Chassis listed in my other thread, hope you find a suitable rolling chassis Skinner! Cheers, Tim. </edit>
  4. Mine has just arrived from Dinball! (Amazing service again from them btw, I now have another 4m of bubble wrap in my packaging supplies! Thoroughly recommended, even arrived a day earlier than Parcelforce estimated it would). I have the bonus parts (bearings) included, got it all out of the box last night and had a good sniff... Can't wait to get started on the build, might do the body first as it looks like a real labour of love with all the parts to paint and assemble. Thank you Tamiya for another great re-release! I was only just getting back into R/C when the previous re-release was available. Tim.
  5. I'm quite into these as well! We were on holiday in Florida a couple of years ago and I stocked up on a few cheap kits in the massive Lego store, have the motorised AT-AT, the Ultimate AT-ST, X-Wing and Y-wing at the moment. I also brought the Sandcrawler all the way back in a spare suitcase too, but lack of time/money meant I decided to sell it. Which was a shame. They had the 10179 Millenium Falcon on display which I really wanted, but it weighed a ton and I had no way of getting it home! I've also got quite a few Technic sets now as well, although I'm annoyed with myself because I had lots of these (collectable now) as a child and sold them all to a teacher at school for practically nothing. Idiot. Earlier this year I saw the Hoth Rebel base complete at a boot sale for a few quid and didn't buy it, realised it's value when I got home! Doh! Tim.
  6. I've finally got rid of the virus, it's a TDSS rootkit. The only solution i found is to use Kapersky's TDSSkiller, download the .exe, rename it to a .com, then run from a cmd line prompt. It should launch a little ui window, scan, then reboot. I also ran MalwareBytes' anti malware software to clean things up. Get both these things from bleepingcomputer.com, or I can send them to you. No more Internet redirects or junk in temp Internet folders, but I'm still working on manually restoring all my hidden files and shortcuts. Good luck! Pm me if you need more info. Tim. PS: Sorry for the thread hijack, back to the original discussion... when is it out?! I need one of these. Or do I need a Wraith... surely they're both fulfilling a similar function?
  7. Yep, I've already reported it to desktop support (I'm development) so we'll see what happens. I have a mac at home using Firefox and no worries!  BTW, great looking buggy - I want one. Agree this needs a desert camo look.
