WillyChang 1814 Posted April 14, 2014 Germans are usually on time, not 2 wks late... like a genuine proper 1/10 Scorpion? ... not 1/7, 1/26, 1/36, 1/16...

mtbkym01 4008 Posted April 14, 2014 This is amazing news, and possibly the best model from my point of view for them to release, as I've already got a few variations of Optimas, so this is great

Grastens 2795 Posted April 14, 2014 Very cool! I find it interesting that the translation describes it as 'the fiercest competitor to the Tamiya Rough Rider,' since anecdotal evidence suggests that the Rough Rider was consigned to the back of the results table once the Scorpion arrived... It is great to see Kyosho re-releasing an old design - hopefully, we will see others in time...

Wandy 1527 Posted April 14, 2014 At last.... they are joining the party! The only question is....what took them so long? Ultima, Optima, Mid & Tomahawk after this one please, Mr Kyosho.
Tamiya1/10 382 Posted April 14, 2014 You kind of wonder why is taking these company so long to decide for a re release. Real car companies have done it and Tamiya has been doing it for a few years with good ?results. The business model is our there, the results are there so what has these companies been doing the last several years. I am good now that is out of my system. The only re re from kyosho is the dual motor Pajero, 4Runner or Pathfinder. They were realistic , with the pajero not too scale for jamming a two door in a 4dr chassis. kaylon 235 Posted April 14, 2014 Just noticed this thread..Sorry to repeat news in Kyosho section .. did not mean to double post.. I loved this buggy, always wanted one, the trailing arm set up for the rear always looked excellent. K
Percymon 2184 Posted April 14, 2014 the trailing arm set up for the rear always looked excellent. K I dare say with new re-re parts availability we'll start seeing more customs SRBs using the Scorpion arms
Grastens 2795 Posted April 14, 2014 Its in the Banner/Header at the top of the page, scrolling through a few news items it seems ... Oh, now they put it up! Now I feel silly So, which companies are left from that golden age in the 1980s to re-release their kits?

Axeboy 297 Posted April 14, 2014 I was never a bit fan of Kyosho back in the day to be honest, but this looks mighty tempting. Might dip my feet
markbt73 5316 Posted April 14, 2014 Wellnow. This is interesting indeed. I know it's blasphemy to say it on this site, but there really isn't anything else that Tamiya could bring back that would interest me. I'm sort of tired of black plastic blobs. But another largely metal, realistic-looking buggy, that by all accounts is a better runner than any SRB, is an intriguing idea. Assuming, that is, that it comes as a kit, for a reasonable price, and stays true to the original design.
