Hi quarryman, please keep in mind that the Grasshopper is not a rare model and it has been re-released once in regular box art as well as in the Candy Green edition. Have a look what the re-released new ones cost in your area, depending on if you want to run the car or restore a vintage one.

This one is from 80', and thinking of resto.

But on the other hand, how different is a re-re, i think I can bye a re-re for 125 EUR in my local shop

Original is still original (even though there's minor differences) but 50 bucks for one in rough condition is a bit on the high side, I think.

Last (rough) one I bought myself was 12 euro on eBay. First release was in '84 by the way.

I bought a hornet this summer, it didn't even cost me 10 euros. In my opinion, 50 is a bit too much, if it's in rough condition,

Tamico has re-re Grasshopper in stock at 90 €. One or two years ago the price tag was at 80 € if I remember correctly.

If you restore a vintage use grasshopper, you will probably end up replacing a good portion of it with re-re parts. In the end it's probably best to just buy a re-re.
