Great shout the upgraded pistons, this time around I’ll use the kit stuff as I have it ready to go. The mods and upgrades will follow later 😉

Glad you got this sorted Kev, I did check my tub of RC plastics for you, but there was nothing in there that would have helped.

Put the plastics in warm water and washing up liquid to soften the grit before they go in the sonic cleaner tomorrow -

I’ll have a play around with it tomorrow and let you know how I get on 👍

I’ve got this week off and we’ve been away for a couple of days and this evening I’ve actually done some wrenching - wahoo 😂 Small amount on the XV01 and on the unsold Blitzer Beetle 💥

Motors I’ve got in stock - Silver can Torque tuned Sports tuned Dirt tuned Random unknown out of a TA03 I’ll run NiMH’s and have from memory 13T & 15T pinions. Mostly running in our back garden, which is about 60’ well kept lawn.

Just putting the standard kit supplied CVA’s back in this one. The shock disc that the oil follows through - Which disc is the best to use front and back? And which shock oil? I’ve got clear, yellow and red - all Tamiya kit supplied stuff.

The only part to be left is this one, as I can’t see how to separate it without inflicting damage -
