  1. I did think about this. But read a post where another member melted the wheels . Is there any particular dye i should use?
  2. That looks interesting. The fix i did on my daughters car seems to be holding nicely will do the same on the other car. Had enough now this will have to do. My kids are well happy thats what matters the stickers that came with the beetle are pants. Thanks again for all your help guys, should have a couple of extras arriving next week. Are there any pink chrome wheels that will fit this??
  3. Mounted the camaro body. I feel like i cheated a bit buying the completed body. Did the best i could with the arches need to tidy the rear a little. Think bumblebee has some stripes on the bonnet.
  4. I've finished all the windows now. Something not right with the frame between the two wipers. Will have a look another day. Made a platform from some perspex and some felt to mount the heads on. They are sitting a little higher than i would like. My printer is playing up so will have to finish the rest once i've received a few spares to get the printer up and running again.
  5. I've tried a 100% alcohol wipe and it wont budge it. Will have another go when i've finished everything else.
  6. It depends on the light. If it looked like the photo i'd be happy. My daughter said why did you use blue. LOL The windows and coach lines are vinyl. Luckily i have a roland printer and cutter from a failed business venture. The windows are taking ages a lot of trial and error. I managed to get some overspray on the window and roof didn't notice it until it was too late. Next time i do a body it will be perfect. They have really scraped the fronts of the mighty bulls this one should be better as the front it protected by the bumper. Are there any chrome lights for this one the stickers that came with the kit don't look great.
  7. nearly finished. The purple is very blue. I messed with the levels in photoshop for this image.
  8. masked up ready for purple. I wanted to do the bottom cill black but the more colours i use the more chance i have of messing it up.
  9. It was a bit of a pita to get on especially as i did not have any other mounting pieces and the rear pieces on the mighty bull have been cut. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm sure i checked the wheels after changing the bearings.
  10. Did a better job of cutting the beetle shell. Maybe its a little small for this car. My daughter is happy though.
  11. would these be ok?? http://www.rcmart.com/adp060orsbebk-aluminium-drontrear-damper-with-plastic-ball-p-62753.html?cPath=1102_1106
  12. Can someone point me in the right direction for some oil shocks for the GF01. Yellow would be nice. Don't know why i fussed with the paint so much it spends most of its time on its roof lol.
  13. They look good. Bodged my own fix on one of the cars if it holds up i will do the same to the other. I had to make the holes in the chassis a little bigger.
  14. Yes i used the screw from the savox. It's the two screws holding the servo to the mounts that were loose.
