I laughed, I found it funny 2 yrs ago and I still do. Yes it's laughing at someone's misfortune (and yes it's a little girl) but I still laugh when my 3 yr old boy gets 'taken out' by my 18 month boy. Yes it's wrong..but it's still funny. ( I also laugh at skateboarders who miss riding the rails and skiers who fall off chairlifts when they try and get off...accidents happen, some of them are funny)

Anyone know other Re-releases in the near future?
steve997 replied to gottago's topic in Re-Release Discussions
How about the Vanquish...good chance of happening? I hope so....... Also why Haven't Tamiya re re'd the Monster Beetle? they would sell loads? -
I am not sure what gearing options are available for your car, that might be a good place to start. If 60mph is your goal then brushless and lipo is the way forward. I have brushless and nimh batteries (10.5 turn and 7.5 turn) and I think I have reached the limit of my cells. I would imagine that you need to decide whether to use 7.4v 2c lipo and a high kv motor (like the castle sidewinder 7700) or 11.1v 3c lipo and a lower kv motor (like the castle sidewinder 5700) PS Welcome !

Used sticks 25 years ago. Tried pistol with RTR traxxas models. Still prefer sticks for steering but pistol for throttle modulation.

Breaking Super Clod Buster News.

Any more news on the new clod? -
Is the Avante truck for real? I could understand a rere of the vanquish with a truck variant like a King Cab at a cheaper price point (like less than £200) . But surely the price for the Avante truck is going to be >£300? Madness IMHO. (Having said that.... I do hope they rerelease the vanquish at some point!)

nooooooooo my brushless emaxx is apparently garbage .......... Traxxas connectors work very well.

IMHO brushless will be standard in the next few years. We all used to have mechanical stock speed controllers included in kits and upgraded to electric speed controllers in the 90's when we went racing. Tamiya now include esc as standard. Why would brushless motors be any different? The silver can and kit speed controller come to approx £30 when bought separately, when brushless come down further in price then it probably wont be long before tamiya include a kit brushless combo/option.

Is a 13.5T Brushless too much for a Boomer?
steve997 replied to lthj75's topic in Re-Release Discussions
Haven't you asked this question before? a 13t will not be too much.. If it were me I would go for a 10.5t brushless though for a bit more oomph. -
Traxxas plugs work for me.....
