Butler 338 Posted March 13, 2015 I have come used tamiya wheels for my M03 05 and FF03. The kits wheels and sometimes some others, but still tamiya branded. I keep finding, before even hitting the track, some are essentially buckled. They wobble. Any one else notice this? Do the racers buy a pre mounts or some particular wheel that's better? Ta. XV Pilot 1936 Posted March 13, 2015 When I raced, I used Ansmann wheels. Cheap, tough and moulded true, they were also completely resistant to acetone, so tyre removal was a simple case of leaving them to soak for a while, then slipping the old tyres off to replace them with new ones. Backlash 481 Posted March 13, 2015 I've been using the Ride "inch up" tyres and wheels on my M05.. I have not really noticed any of them being buckled.. Are you sure its not an issue with the hex adaptor?
Butler 338 Posted March 25, 2015 Found out this was a bad alloy hex on my FF03. I'll have to recheck my mini to see if thats the wheels, axle or hex. Thanks
