ChrisRx718 4464 Posted October 12, 2013 I see you have some blue parts there which will obviously clash with the gold, I'll take good cars of them for you though?! Look forward to the progress pics...

Thanks Mate, But these Bluse parts has no other alternative and they are the correct Hop-Up as per the manual as i am always looking to use Tamiya Hop-Ups rather than 3rd party's.... It will not clash with Gold plan as it is going to be Awesome looking....just wait till the build starts

WillyChang 1812 Posted December 3, 2013 Step 2 - 3 : Hop Up Steering Linkage ![/b] the option steering rack gives it Ackerman steering, which you do not want in a drift car. VDF has been designed with parallel geometry. The option is for grip running.

Percymon 2184 Posted December 3, 2013 Whilst I'm not averse to the blue and gold anodizing I can't help but think it would look eve better in just gold colour
Tamiya Era 778 Posted December 3, 2013 Whilst I'm not averse to the blue and gold anodizing I can't help but think it would look eve better in just gold colour You are right, but as you know, Tamiya does not make all gold hop ups. some of the blue once also meant for the Gold edition and as you know, i only build with Tamiya Parts and NO 3rd party parts and i think i covered all the blue parts except for 2 or parts, then all will be Gold ! Tamiya Era 778 Posted December 5, 2013 HIiii The body is done and decided to go clear I painted the Wing with PS-5. The side Mirrors are originally White, so sprayed it with Semi-Gloss Black. Went with Clear body so the Golden Shinny parts will be visible ( Well, it turned out Amazing with clear body and detailed decal. Awesome! Regards

Shodog 1835 Posted December 12, 2013 Hope you removed the protective film before applying the sticker. The pic of the bonnet doesn't look like you did. That chassis with the gold anodizing looks like pure sex

chriss76 91 Posted December 12, 2013 Great job, looks really nice, I don't think it would do to have a painted secound body though. Chris

backtomyroots 432 Posted December 14, 2013 Have you considered a "translucent" or opaque paint job. I've got a paintjob on a Pro-line shell that allows the chassis to be seen slightly. More: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=108188&sid=7434 Just a thought ! (I've since removed the driver so that nasty block on the side door isn't visible).
