Rich1978 28 Posted April 22, 2014 Hi, can anyone direct me to some stiffer springs for some CVA Short Shocks II please ? Basically, I want some for my hopped up Lunchbox and have found these for the DF03 which uses the same shocks at the rear. Question is are the silver ones stiffer than the ones on my LB ? Are there any other options ? It's really just to increase the spring rate with an FX10 conversion on the front which feels too soft with the stock CVA springs. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-53927-DF03-Setting-Spring-Set-RC-Hop-ups-/331062082803?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item4d14d67cf3 Cheers R
MAD RACER 566 Posted April 22, 2014 Losi springs , or AE springs do. That is original bore NOT big bore. I think the AE ones are right one. AE is a slightly smaller bore then the Losi Good thing about Losi & AE is the are rated so you know where you are and AE sell the springs in a complete set with the spring ratings and are pretty cheap too. GregM 1109 Posted April 23, 2014 Super Fighter G friction shock rear springs are stiffer than the CVA II short shock springs and will fit right on.
