  1. Mugen Seiki tools,Japanese steel….enough said
  2. You’re definitely not the first, and wont be the last
  3. @Room335 It is to control chassis flex, it’s ’m really happy how this is turning out, cant wait for my body to arrive to get it all finished.
  4. @Re-Bugged that pic is just an attachment, not hosted elsewhere. Still haven't worked what to do. I should have enough space on Flickr to show this car finished, but that will be it
  5. Some more parts finally came in after a false start on some hubs, these are re-pro from Rubrix Racing Products, and quality is outstanding The spur is just a spare, and 2 hubs wont be used either, but nice to have some spares. I’ve also placed orders with TBG and JC Racing so all bits to actually finish the buggy are now in process. Looking forward to finish this one, which was intimidating at the start based on its condition and missing parts.
  6. @Re-Bugged I’m thinking I might try TCPhotos via my computer to see if I get the email that way, only tried on iPhone and iPad so far
  7. My Flickr account is basically full (without paying for pro), and I cant get TCPhoto’s to work for me (Apparently I have an account but cant reset the password, just dont get emails), so was looking at imgur, but this feedback above doesnt sound great
  8. “Made” some “Re-Re” motors for upcoming projects. I like to do this as a representation of the hot motors from back in the day. Cheap 540’s from AliExpress, and motor stickers from MCI. It’s a shame about the gold/bronze coloured endbells, but still look the part IMO. It seems Yokomo have done the same with the Esprit??
  9. The peroxide method works well, I’ve done an Edinger Gold Pan and Traxxas Bullet (The Guinea Pig) using this method. A Graphite Re-Re is what I’m hoping for since I have a classic (well 2, 1 built and 1 NIB), and a Worlds from the last time AE went down the re-re path, so a graphite would be a nice addition. Watching this with interest
  10. I still race 1/8 Mugen buggies, in 2013 I was lucky enough to have dinner with Sanada San in Tokyo and I did mention that they needed to get into 1/10, so It’s only taken 10 years, but I’m claiming credit for this release . Just waiting for Koji to send me my free one
  11. I’m frustrated right now by the number of TBG bodies I need to order ($400 CAD worth, plus shipping to Aust). It makes sense for me to order all the bodies I need in 1 hit to potentially save on shipping, but its so much money…..
