I love this sign, shows the shop owner had a zero tolerance policy but still has a sense of humour :)

From GQ Mag.

Government wants to hire econmist and 3 people applied. a math professor, a nobel price winner and a banker each with good qualifications. Prof. wants $80K per year; nobel winner wants $150k per year and banker wants $500K per year. Interviewer cannot help himself and ask banker that prof wants only $80k, the other wanted $150k and he wanted $500k to justify. Banker says yes, hire me and I'll hire Prof and $220k for me and $220k for you.

Is it part of the joke that this doesn't add up to $500k?

after the banker got the job he goes back to the interviewer and informs him is only $210k.( as you have pointed out) that is why bankers get the job and make 6 figures for doing nothing while you and i don't get the plumb job and we work full time and make next to nothing.

from GQ again...

a guy wants to make some extra money and knocks on some rich family home to offer his handy work skills for a fee. The 1st home he called offered him $50 to piant the Porch at the back of the house and the paint is back there already. An hour later the man came back and told the owner he finished painting with enough paint left over that his was able to give it a second coat. The family was very happy and paid the man. Once the man reached the end of the driveway he turned around and told the family...i am no expert but i don't think you have a Porch at the back, but you have an Audi.

These math prof. always makes things so complicated...in plain english. man brings home the bacon, increase the mrs. charge card limit and doesn't hurt if one looks like Brad Pit and his wealth....and lastly always put down the toilet seat. qed.

Well, other than the Brad Pitt bit it turns out I'm doing everything wrong! Brad Pitt in the film Kalifornia still counts right? :)
