SRB Ford Ranger Aluminum wheels

Recommended Posts

I saw these wheels on the bay and knew I wanted a set for my ranger. They came in the mail today and I snapped a few pics of them. You'll have to excuse the filthy chassis. This project has been on the back burner for years but these wheels might spur me to take it on.

Are those from rc_loverr in HK? I just ordered a set from him today. They look awesome and I was hoping to see what they looked like mounted to a chassis. Perfect timing! Thank you!

Those wheels look awesome and I love the Warn lock-nuts too.

I am wondering whether those wheels will take old school Lancia Rally tire or maybe the smaller re-re Wheeler ones. Those wheels are quite Lancia 037 ish in style and should fit an ORV without modification.

I think the Lancia wheels are 1.7's so diameter should be fine, it is just the width that I need to consider. Any idea what width they are?

Can you provide a link for where you got then?

I don't know if they will considering the ranger tire has a different bead than the lancia tire. it may not rest in the slot that was made for it.

I love these wheels. Here they are on my plain re-re Brat with new tires mounted and white lettering.

They are made by rc_loverr in Hong Kong. I have bought from him a few times over the years and he makes good quality parts.

If you want a set of wheels, here is the eBay link to the seller's items: http://www.ebay.com/sch/rc_loverr/m.html?item=141102935701&pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories

Look for the Buy-It-Now titled "ALLOY WHEEL TAMIYA SUBARU BRAT FORD F150 RANGER XLT SRB MITSUBISHI PAJERO".

These wheels are very true and straight. When you spin the front wheels on their bearings there is no wobble at all. Pargu's wheels all wobble slightly in comparison.

Very smooth finish. Highly recommended.

He rarely rereleases parts so when they are offered, you got to jump on it. I wish he would produce his scorcher body add ons again

Wow stunning wheels and nice warn lock nuts. They totally transform the trucks. I'll have to get a set of these.

Did you use any kind of particular paint on the tyres? I know its white paint lol. Youve done a really neat job and it really sets them off. I've been thinking of doing my tyres lettering the same but I don't want to mess them up.
