Rally Man. 0 Posted June 24, 2008 Hello there Tamiya members, At long last I have managed to buy a brand new Tamiya rally cockpit for only 5.00 ! ! ! Does any one know what paint and primer I need to paint it with? Thankyou for your time and advice, Rally Man. p.s I said only Professional help because I don't want to melt my cockpit with the wrong paint, I don't mean to offend anyone. WillyChang 1814 Posted June 24, 2008 I've only ever used Tamiya Acrylics but any TS spray will be fine, they are all plastic compatible.

Taman 3 Posted June 25, 2008 Hi, I've painted a few Group C cockpits and noticed its definately wroth spraying with the Primer first as (1) helps the paint stick better (2) gives a more even paint look as the light doesnt come through the thin plastic and give an uneven paint look Once you've dont that its just like painting any plastic model kit and I also use the Tamiya paints.
