svenb 3735 Posted April 1, 2015 Have ordered a opel calibra body set and a PS paint from them as they where the only ones with stock in europe. 2 weeks+ later their still processing the order! each email sent is recieved with the same almost automated reply. It appears to me they don't have stock and are waiting for something that is no longer availble to turn up. Has anyone had dealings with them? Getting really fed up. sven
kaylon 235 Posted April 1, 2015 Sorry mate.. I get my PS paint from Fusion or Modelsport UK ... I personally stay away from German sites as I've had issues in the past when trying to get LRP and Ansmann spares when I raced a S10BX and a Xpro for a few months ... Not heard bad things of MRT-rc mind you so I do hope all is well eventually. K
Mokei Kagaku 2706 Posted April 2, 2015 I don't have any experience with MRT, but I've bought 80 items in 12 orders from Tamico and 484 items in 51 orders from Seidel (I enter all my purchases in a database) and when the status has been "in stock" in their online shops, they have always been able to deliver within 1-4 days. Seidel has 6 Calibra body parts sets in stock: http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index.php?firma=Tamiya&best=84236
svenb 3735 Posted April 2, 2015 I didnt check with seidel, went through about 7 pages on google to find one in stock and only MRT showed stock. same with PS Pastel Grey. How long should i give them before asking for money back and trying seidel? There not answering emails or phone. sven

If you have paid with PayPal or any other way where you can (relatively) easy claim your money back, I wouldn't hesitate if I was you. 2 weeks + without a reply is inacceptable if you ask me and they don't deserve your money. GregM 1109 Posted April 2, 2015 I once ordered a DVD box set from an US based web store and paid via PayPal. When I didn't hear from them for around 2 weeks (no shipping notification) and didn't get any e-mail responses, I successfully claimed my money back through PayPal. In the end, it turned out the item was not in stock and couldn't be backordered, since it was discontinued from the factory.
svenb 3735 Posted April 7, 2015 Have told them I want a refund and the email back says there's a delay because of DHL on strike! More than 3 weeks wait for that! I don't believe them. Have or are DHL on strike? Not that I care I just want to know if my items were in stock and sent. Would never recommend MRT-rc.

Have or are DHL on strike? Not that I care I just want to know if my items were in stock and sent. Would never recommend MRT-rc. This is really too bad! I can't fullly guarantee that DHL isn't on strike or hasn't been during the last few weeks, but I seriously doubt so. I live in Germany and I'm constantly sending and receiving parcels with DHL and has done so during the last weeks too, and there haven't been any unusual delays or problems. I think MRT-RC is simply lying to you. I hope you're getting your money back without problems.
svenb 3735 Posted April 7, 2015 Thanks Mokei, just i suspected. i'll give them chance to respond to my last email, tomorrow night i think, then claim money back if possible.
Mokei Kagaku 2706 Posted April 7, 2015 The German Tamiya distributor inventory list shows zero stock for this body parts set, so unless MRT-RC has it in stock, I can't imagine that they will be able to source it. I'd say get your money back and buy the body parts set from Seidel!
svenb 3735 Posted April 8, 2015 Just ordered calibra body set and a few more bits from seidel MRT-RC have agreed to refund me, so fingers crossed svenb

svenb 3735 Posted April 8, 2015 Ok there maybe a strike, but i stll don't believe what they told me. They want order numbers and item numbers plus bank details before refunding! surely they can refund me by crediting my shop account? still on the look out for PS pastel grey sven
GregM 1109 Posted April 9, 2015 I'd say give them the Information they need, if you are ok with that. But please let them know you prefer to be refunded via Paypal (instead of bank transfer) if you want so. Bank transfer is a widely accepted payment method within Germany (it costs no fees), so most German customers do not own credit cards and use PayPal mainly for paying eBay transactions or placing orders from foreign countries.
