Fast and Furious 7

Recommended Posts

So I snuck out of work today (not to hard as I work for myself lol) and went to watch Fast and Furious 7. Once again a super unrealistic action movie but lots of fun none the less. One of the scenes involves lots of street cars set up for serious off roading and instantly thoughts of a tamiya replicas began racing through my mind. I feel a project coming on :)

I knew seeing that movie would lead to a very unproductive day!! Ive been reserching beadlock wheels, body shells and what chassis would be good to use and convert to longer travel and bigger dampers....................man Ive got to do some work lol

I just spat coffee across the kitchen at that :-)

Dead hero might help but I doubt it will win any awards.

Will catch it on Sky in a couple of months

Somebody please knows how many Dodge Chargers still exist in the world?
I believed, after Dukes of Hazard, Tarantino and Fast and Furious, that they were all extincted.

A quick look on classic car sites and other internet searches shows that it if you have the money they aren't to hard to find but prices are pretty out there for a tidy original example! As too how many exist one could only guess :)

You live in a cool part of the world!

Ahem... we also live in a cool part of the world Andy :P But yeah I am jealous of Theibaults place (and his private RC track!) :o

Hey that Dodge reminds me of the Patriot Surger from the first Motorstorm game! :D

Berman, I wish it was my own private track! It's just a BMX park the city built for us. However, I would go so far as stating that this whole wonderful state (Colorado) is my own private RC track lol. I do want to see this movie though.

They made a lot of chargers, and I am sure they are wrecking the less desirable ones.

No doubt, they made many small and big block (383-440 cu inch) from 1968-1970 and these were top sellers for the Charger, Super Bee and Coronet. Charger shared some quarter parts with Super Bee (fastest Dodge) and Coronet during this time period. Dodge stretched the Coke bottle style..

Although I'll probably never be able to afford one my all time favorite is the first generation Dodge Daytona. Basically a street legal race car with massive rear wing and super large aero dynamic nose cone and of course we can't forget the 426 Hemi or 440 Magnum! I think there's only two in New Zealand :-)
