TWINSET 1793 Posted January 21, 2015 No idea - that's all the info I got at the moment The original's specs are here; http://www.junfac.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=584 but I don't know if they're the same for this one although they both use the 'GS01' chassis according to the pics Wheelbase for the original chassis was 287mm
bromvw 744 Posted January 21, 2015 That works out at 11.2 inch - sadly too short for the chassis i will be using
Toykid 596 Posted January 22, 2015 Looks much better, but they need to trim the front grill /fenders better. That small mod makes a huge difference.
TWINSET 1793 Posted January 22, 2015 Yup, trimming that little 'triangle' away between the fender and the grille makes all the difference They've done it on some of their promo shells;
Tamiya1/10 382 Posted January 24, 2015 Cosmetic wise much better than before, but is still only a 6 or 7 in my book. it seems minor improvements each year, which is good instead of bring a totally different model out. rcmart has better photos and the price includes a 35T motor by yr. bromvw 744 Posted January 24, 2015 Really temping - if i can lose 1 inch from the wheelbase of the chassis i will be using - not that hard if a do my own 4 links .
Tamiya1/10 382 Posted January 25, 2015 Really temping - if i can lose 1 inch from the wheelbase of the chassis i will be using - not that hard if a do my own 4 links . Go for it. Some how the chassis seems not right, but can't say what is not right about it. The front leaf springs mounting point stick ouf too much?
bromvw 744 Posted January 25, 2015 Go for it. Some how the chassis seems not right, but can't say what is not right about it. The front leaf springs mounting point stick ouf too much? if i do use this body it will be on a Axial SCX 10 chassis with front and rear 4links and T rex 60 axles so it might look quite scale .. Yes its not true to a leaf sprung Jeep but loads of off roaders convert Jeeps to more modern running gear on their 1:
