Jagermeister Capri / Tyre Options

Hi,

Just recently got a Jagermeister Capri.

I am running brushless / lipo and it is very quick, too quick for the slick tyres on tarmac.

anyone recommend a good tyre for this TT02 chassis.

Do you need wider tyres? I have found the Tamiya Type A slicks that come with FF03 to have significantly more grip than the standard Tamiya slicks.

Thanks for reply, width is ok, just need something that will grip.

Too much wheel spin and loads of over steer

This model uses 32mm wide rear tyres, your best option is to get some 3mm and 9mm wide offset 26mm wide drift rims like speedway pal fm mesh and fit hpi 4435 or their X pattern tyres all round. That's what I did with my Taisan porsche with the same original rims.

HPI X-patterns are my all-time favorite for looks, grip and long wear. Nice looking Capri.
