It's an 1/8th scale car. Brushless with that gorgeous body. It should have been released by now but looks like Carisma still hasn't. It was shown quickly at the German toy fair. That's all I know about it. I want one, but they don't distribute here in the US.

I was on the phone to CML distribution this morning (UK Carisma agent ) . They are expecting stock of both this and the M10DT Baja Beetle 1/10 scale in early Dec .

They don't yet have a distributor in the US :( I wonder if I can buy direct from them in HK or use someone like Stella or RCmart

Hi Good People!

Just wondering has anyone bought one? If so, how's the build? Is it worth buying it?

So the Carisma M48S Porsche 959 finally made it to the US. I couldn't resist. Got home from work to find this on my front step. I have not run it yet, but I'm not too concerned about how well it runs. All I care about is how good it looks, and boy does this car look good. Nice touches too like mirrors, door handles, and wiper blades. I'll follow up with a video weather and time permitting.

Falcon Hobby Supply. In my haste, I forgot to get the optional led light set lol.

That's not a bad price! I also like the fact that it takes a 540 size motor.. I find the 1/8 scale brushless systems not very smooth..

It's small for an 1/8th vehicle. Chassis wise, it's the same size as a short course truck. My Kyosho DRX VE Subaru is larger.

That's the problem with 1/8 period. There is no standard wheelbase. The DRX is 310, the Inferno GT is 325, Inferno GT2 is 360. Lol..

The Carisma is close to the old TGX wheelbase.

I plan on selling my TRF801X that's converted to an on-road and put the $ towards one of these

WR8 Flux is 300mm and among the smallest calling itself 1/8. Still mad as a hatter and loads of fun. (it also takes a 540 sized brushless motor - 4000kv!)

I had a DRX briefly... Did not care for it much.. I usually have a love hate relationship with Kyoshp

I really enjoy my DRX VE. I drive it about once a week, running 3s. It really scoots and handles well. It's also been bullet proof so far.
