M05 v1 vs pro v2

Am I right in thinking that in addition to some bling blue alloy bits included with pro v2 it also has the ability to hold rectangular hard case packs?

I ask cos I have an M05 v1 and was going to buy the recommended upgrades eg steering assembly but if ot won't take rectangular packs I may just get a v2

Correct. It takes square lipos and also has a different centre of gravity in the chassis than that of the V1.

I did a build review on this with upgrades. It is a very nice car.
